Why Learn Reiki?

Some Reiki results may be noticed within a session or two with a Reiki Master, however if Reiki does seem to be a treatment you want to regularly include in your regimen, you may find it more cost effective to earn your own Reiki I or Reiki II degree.  

Some studies indicate that Reiki at home, combined with visualizations and professional Reiki treatments, increase the positive results of Reiki.
 
I encourage caregivers to consider taking a Reiki class and getting a Reiki degree or attunement in order to treat as needed at any time of day or night.  At first these treatments may be a supplement to professional Reiki treatments but eventually they can replace professional treatments. 

I also encourage autistic clients to get a Reiki attunement (offered without the class for autistic individuals) in order to self-regulate and self-soothe using Reiki on themselves.  It is incredibly empowering for the autistic individual to have greater tools for self-control.     

My Reiki classes are intimate and personalized classes with an emphasis on practical application.  They will be broken up into several sessions giving you plenty of time to absorb and practice at home before coming back with questions.  We will practice on each other a lot in class.

I truly believe that this system is one which can eventually put you in the driver's seat, unreliant on me or any other practitioner.  That is what I hope for each and every person who approaches me for Reiki on autistic individual--I want to get you to a point where YOU and your autistic charge no longer need me.   This is why I offer classes.
